Baseball is what he is best known for however Fly Fishing was the sport that Williams truly loved. “The Kid,” or “The Splendid Splinter,” as Williams was known during his baseball years, became an avid and expert fly fisherman and deep-sea angler during his baseball career.

This Hand written & signed 3" x 6.5" personal bank check written for $60.00 by Ted Williams to Adams Tackle on Feb. 20, 1982 has been custom matted & framed to an overall size of 23" x 32". The Check has been signed in black ink "Theodore Williams." Overall in fine condition. Authenticated by Beckett/BAS with an LOA.
