Desirable UK vinyl pressing of the Rolling Stones 1964 self-titled debut album that has been signed in black ballpoint pen on the reverse by all five original Rolling Stones members: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Charlie Watts, and Bill Wyman. In good to very good condition, with overall scattered wear, including creasing and staining. The album comes with a letter from the original recipient that reads ‘In, I believe it was September 1963, whilst in the Royal Air Force, two friends (Spike and Jeff) and I first saw the Stones playing at the Victoria Ballrooms, in Cambridge. Within the following couple of weeks, we subsequently travelled to see them at the California Ballrooms in Dunstable and then travelled up to Manchester where they played at Urmston Baths on the Friday night, the Town Hall, Stoke on Trent Saturday night and finally at the Oasis Club, Manchester on the Sunday. One of my two friends was a Londoner and he/we became quite friendly with the Stones and subsequently we travelled to various location including Portsmouth Town Hall (close to my original home) and we attended the all night gig at Alexander Palace in June, 1964, which was I believe just after they returned from the United States. An added bonus was the attendance of John Lee Hooker and Millie. My friend Spike, eventually obtained his release from the Royal Air Force and began to work with the Stones road manager lan Stewart. Exactly when and at what venue, I obtained the signatures on this LP I am not sure, but as can be seen it contains the signature of Brian Jones, who unfortunately later died.” Seldom-seen Rolling Stones debut signed by all five original members, including the highly sought-after Brian Jones.
