Fabulous 9" x 12" black and white portrait in original vintage frame showcasing the 33rd President of the United States, interestingly signed and inscribed in fountain pen ink, "My very best to Harold R. Beckley, 'Hardcock' to me. - Harry S. Truman." Beckley, who served as the Superintendent of the Senate Press Gallery throughout Truman's senatorial and presidential careers, appears to have had a very close and friendly bond with the former Senator-turned-President from Missouri. Well preserved and housed in the original vintage presentational frame, measuring 10.5" x 13.5" overall. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
