3" x 2.25" Cut, signed by Nobel Prize winner and famous Italian Poet Salvatore Quasimodo (1901-1968). Quasimodo also adds underneath the signature "Mexico 1956..." Nicely matted alongside a B&W 5" x 7" Glossy Photograph. Overall in fine condition and includes an LOA from Beckett/BAS. Salvatore Quasimodo, (born Aug. 20, 1901, Modica, Italy—died June 14, 1968, Naples) was an Italian poet, critic, and translator. After World War II, he was a noted powerful poet who spoke against modern social issues of the time. He received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1959.
