A British One Pound note that has been autographed by U2 in black pen. The autographs come with a letter from the original recipient that reads ‘The U2 autographs on the Bank of England £1 note were obtained on January 23, 1981. U2 had played a show at Queen's University in Belfast (the show was filmed by the BBC for broadcast and footage is available on YouTube). I had attended with a schoolfriend and after the gig was speaking to the local radio DJ who had provided the pre-show music. The band emerged to speak to the handful of fans still in the venue, and after the usual niceties were observed all four members of the band signed my £1 note (it was the only paper I had with me, and it was quite a lot of money for an A-level student)’. The condition is very good minus. Accompanied by a Tracks COA.
