Wayne Gretzky coached the Phoenix Coyotes hockey team from 2005-2009. During one of those years the Coyotes organization gave Season ticket holders an authentic Wayne Gretzky signed official licensed Phoenix Coyotes jersey as a gift to show their appreciation. That is the origin of this signed jersey. The jersey is size XL and is in new condition with tags still on it. The letters and numbers are sewn on. Gretzky signed it on the number 9 with a black felt tip marker. In new condition. Gretzky played 20 seasons in the NHL for 4 teams from 1979-1999. Nicknamed "the Great One", he has been called the greatest ice hockey player ever by many sportswriters, players, and by the NHL itself. Gretzky is the leading goal scorer, assist producer and point scorer in NHL history! At the time of his retirement in 1999, he held 61 NHL records.
