Offered here is a UK vinyl pressing of the 1978 album ‘A Single Man’ that has been autographed on the front cover by Elton John in blue ballpoint pen. Elton has added the inscription ‘Merry Christmas’ above his name. Minor handling wear to the edges but overall in fine condition. This item will include a letter from the original recipient that reads ‘‘As a season ticket holder and lifelong Watford football supporter I was at the match when Elton John signed his new Album "A Single Man" at Vicarage road. I came to hear that he would be signing the LP at the ground. The proceeds of the LP sales taken on this day would go to Watford FC. I purchased the LP in a portacabin, and that the first 60 or so would be signed Elton John. This was in December 1978’. Further accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Tracks LTD.
