Offered here are three Coutts & Co checks that has been signed by multiple members of Queen. Details of each check are as follows:
The first Coutts & Co Check, dated 26th January 1981, has been signed by Freddie Mercury and John Deacon. This check is payable to Rock It Cargo for £36.50. Rock it Cargo is a company responsible for shipping instruments and tour gear around the globe for some of the biggest recording artists in the world. The check measures 4" x 7.5".
The second Coutts & Co Check, dated 5th February 1981, has been signed by Brian May and John Deacon in blue and black ballpoint pen. This check is payable to Abbey Road Studios for £60.95. Abbey Road Studios was made famous by The Beatles and most of the biggest artists in the world have recorded there. The check measures 4" x 7.5".
The third Coutts & Co Check, dated 10th February, 1983, has been signed by Roger Taylor and John Deacon in blue ballpoint pen. This check is payable to Rock It Cargo for £168.29. Rock it Cargo is a company responsible for shipping instruments and tour gear around the globe for some of the biggest recording artists in the world. The check measures 4" x 7.5".
Interestingly John Deacon has signed his name John R. Deacon on each of the cheques. Each check is overall in fine condition. This lot will include a full Letter of Authentication from Tracks LTD.
