John has signed beautifully on the sweet spot of the cover. Comes from the estate and private collection of record producer Kumar Shankar, nephew of legendary recording artist, Ravi Shankar. The album was signed for Shankar in late 1974 shortly after its release.
Elton John’s Greatest Hits remains one of the best-selling albums of all time, with 24 million copies sold worldwide. In 2012, Greatest Hits was ranked at number 136 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
