The only example we’ve ever encountered of this triple-LP masterpiece
Here is a stunning German first pressing of the 1973 Yes album ‘Tales From Topographic Oceans’ that has been vintage-signed on the front cover by the entire group in ballpoint pen. Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman and Steve Howe have signed in blue ballpoint pen, Alan White has signed in black ballpoint pen. Chris has added the words ‘Best Regards’ above his name, Steve has added the words ‘Happy Flying’ above his name and Alan has added the words ‘Best Wishes’ above his name. Comes with a brief note from the ex-wife of the recipient that reads ‘The enclosed signed Yes album was given to my ex-husband as a gift from the pilot of a private aircraft which had the group to an unknown destination’. It is likely that the album was signed in April 1974 whilst the group were touring Germany. Condition of the cover and original discs is very good plus. Vintage signed albums by Yes are quite rare, and this is an outstanding example. Indeed, this is the first signed example of this album that we have encountered. Accompanied by Letters of Authenticity from music memorabilia authority Tracks UK and Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
