Presented is a Muhammad Ali signed “The Greatest” cartoon art limited-edition framed lithograph. The three-time heavyweight champion of the world has signed his name in blue marker in the lower right of the print, which includes a black and white action photograph of Ali glaring down at Sonny Liston on the canvas in their May 25, 1965 rematch, while hand-painted images of the Warner Brothers animated cartoon characters Elmer Fudd (as the referee), Bugs Bunny (as the ringside doctor with an “Acme First Aid” doctor’s bag), Daffy Duck, Sylvester the Cat, Tweedy Bird, Road Runner, Speedy Gonzalez and Marc Anthony the dog surround him in the ring. The color print bears the legend “The Greatest” in gold script across the top and is inscribed “38/75” in the lower right corner to denote the Artists Proof edition size. Professionally framed to overall dimensions of 26.5" x 32.5". In fine condition.
