Offered here is a 28 ½" x 22" first edition poster, advertising four sets of concerts in August 1968 at Bill Graham's newly opened Fillmore West Auditorium at Market and Van Ness Streets. This poster was designed by two of S.F.'s finest poster artists, Rick Griffin and Alton Kelley. One of the all-time most popular Fillmore West concert posters in the Bill Graham series, due to its commanding size, amazing colors, beautiful artwork, the involvement of two legendary S.F. poster artists, and the presence of both The Who and the Grateful Dead. The poster has evidence of scattered creasing and pinholes to each of the four corners, otherwise fine.
