In the late 1950s and early 1960s, Elvis Presley spent a lot of time at the popular Sands Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. He performed there, filmed parts of movies there. Before it closed in 1996, the room that he liked to stay in was called the "Elvis Presley Room".
"Viva Las Vegas" is a 1964 American Musical staring Elvis Presley and Ann-Margaret. The film is considered to be one of Presley's best films mostly due to the chemistry between Presley and Margret who truly believed Elvis to be her "Soulmate".
