An intriguing document regarding a lingering legal dispute that started shortly before Kurt Cobain's suicide, offered here is the Settlement Agreement and Mutual General Release between music video director Kevin Kerslake and Nirvana. This 8-page document is undated but is circa 1995, 8.5" x 11" each page. In March of 1994, Kevin Kerslake sues Nirvana stating that he had presented Kurt Cobain with concepts for the "Heart Shaped Box" music video. Despite the band not hiring him, Kerslake claimed that his ideas twere then used by Cobain to make the video. Not wanting the issue to linger any longer, the band agreed to compensate Kerslake with a payment of $82,500 to settle the matter. The document outlines the terms of the dispute and the settlement and is signed on the final page, with Dave Grohl providing a rare "David Grohl" full signature and Krist Novoselic signing the document three times--once on his behalf, on behalf of Nirvana Inc., and a third time on behalf of "Nirvana". An attorney representing the Cobain estate has also signed on behalf of the interest of Kurt Cobain. A unique piece of Nirvana memorabilia with relation to some of the band's final works. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
