In the middle of the first quarter, LeBron James took a pass from Russell Westbrook and completed a 20-foot jumper to reach 38,001 career points. With this shot, James became the second player ever to reach the 38,000-point threshold. Only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's 38,387 points was standing between himself and the all-time scoring record.
