Lynyrd Skynyrd historical Room Key artifact from now long defunct Sheraton Palmetto Inn in Greenville, SC. This is the hotel Skynyrd stayed at on October 19th, 1977. This would be the last gig Ronnie Van Zant ever played as the next day ( October 20th), the plane crashed in the woods of Gillsburg, Mississippi at 6:52pm killing Ronnie Van Zant, Cassie and Steve Gaines, Dean Kilpatrick, pilot Walter McCreary, and co-pilot John Gray. The lot comes with a gold seal COA detailing the history of the key and it has been signed by Craig Reed. Also a copy of Craig Reed’s Lynyrd Skynyrd 1977 fall itinerary show the Palmetto Inn as their hotel and timetable for their last show. It has also been signed at the conclusion by Craig Reed.
