Elvis purchased these in the early 70s and wore them both on and off stage. Elvis cracked the frames and took them to be repaired by Las Vegas jeweler, Stuart Small ofThunderbird-Bird Jewelers on the strip next to Suzy Cream Cheese. Stuart and Elvis became friends and he would shop there during the early 70s. Elvis donated the glasses to his associate, Richard Gordon. These glasses are accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from Stuart Small and were acquired direct from the collection of noted Elvis historian Bud Glass.
