ULTRA RARE handwritten letter from the genius inventor, one page, December 22, 1888, in which Edison gives a referral to his gardening assistant. In full: "Daniel McRorie has worked for us for three years as an assistant to the Gardener. He is a good worker, competent, and of good habits - Thomas A. Edison." Well preserved and in superb condition, with the signature receiving a grade of GEM MINT 10 from Beckett. Edison handwritten letters are extremely uncommon and of the scarcest form of his handwriting examples. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
