Offered here is a Golden State Warriors Association Edition jersey used by Warriors' superstar Stephen Curry in Game 2 of the Western Conference First Round against the Sacramento Kings on Apr. 17 in the 2023 NBA Playoffs. A 114-106 Warriors defeat, Curry played 40 minutes and registered a game-high 28 points with 6 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 blocked shot. The effort moved Curry passed basketball legends Wilt Chamberlain and Elgin Baylor for 18th on the NBA's all-time playoff scoring list. The Game 2 loss set the Warriors back 0-2 in the series—the first time such a thing has happened to the Warriors since 2007—but the championship pedigree led by the trio of Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green saw the Warriors rattle off four wins in the next five games to take the series in seven games. The Warriors would go up against the Lakers in the Semifinals, where they would fall in six games.
The offered jersey features all numbering and lettering in tackle twill. A red "Rakuten" advertisement patch rests on the jersey's upper left chest opposite a blue Nike Swoosh logo patch and a Bill Russell commemorative patch on the jersey's upper right chest. A Nike NBA AUTHENTICS size "48" manufacturer's tag with an attached "LENGTH +4" flag is embroidered on the jersey's front left tail. The Nike tag is labeled "4.17.23" in black marker by an unknown hand. Adjacent to the manufacturer's tag is an "EVERY PLAYER. EVERY GAME." tag serial-numbered "GSWW 07898." The back of the jersey features an NBA Logoman Patch above Curry's nameplate, and a gold Championship "7" tag has been applied directly to the back of the jersey's collar. The jersey comes with an LOA from the Warriors/MeiGray (GSWW07898), who have conclusively photo-matched the jersey to Game 2 of the Western Conference First Round on Apr. 17, 2023.
