The House that Ruth Built played host to the third and final bout between these two Boxing Hall of Famers, a match that resulted in a controversial unanimous decision in Ali's favor. Leading up to the fight, these posters could be found on the streets of the Big Apple, hyping "Muhammad Ali 'I Am the Greatest' Champion vs. Ken "Jaw Breaker" Norton Challenger." Note that Norton had garnered his nickname from accomplishing that feat in his first bout with the Champ, handing Ali just his second career defeat. This poster has undergone some touch up restoration. The colors remain bright and vivid, offering no shortage of vintage eye appeal. Any concerns about restoration must be quickly overcome with recognition of the intense rarity of this piece, certainly one of only a handful left on earth today. Serious boxing collectors will understand that holding out for a finer specimen is a sucker's bet. Measures 23x29" in size. Framed.
