Original 8" x 8" FBI wanted poster for James J. 'Whitey' Bulger, issued on November 24, 2000, by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for violations of "Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations; Extortion." Poster features Bulger's fingerprints and three images: two of Bulger and one of his accomplice, Catherine E. Greig. Includes a physical description, known aliases, criminal record, and a reward of $250,000 for information leading to his arrest. Cautionary text to bottom states that "James J. Bulger, a major organized crime figure in the Boston area is being sought for extortion and RICO charges. Bulger has funded his activities through the extortion of all illegitimate criminal operations in South Boston to include gambling, loan-sharking and drugs. He is believed to have travelled extensively, visiting Italy, Ireland, and Canada. He is known to have a violent temper and possesses a knife at all times. Consider armed and dangerous."
