Backing up Drew Bledsoe there wasn't much of a chance for Brady to play until Bledsoe got hurt and Brady took over control. Since becoming the Patriots starter in 2001 the Michigan grad has led his teams to 8 Super Bowls (winning seven of them and was MVP in five of them). Besides the Super Bowls Brady has been to the Pro Bowl, won the NFL MVP and Offensive MVP on different occasions, was awarded the Comeback Player of the Year award, and broke the all-time touchdown passes in a single season.
