Considered one of the best sequels and perhaps the best film of director Rob Zemeckis's career, "Back to the Future II" was released on November 22, 1989, and grossed over $336 million at the box office. The film depicts Marty McFly and Emmitt "Doc" Brown traveling to the future to prevent Marty's son from destroying the family's future. Biff returns and steals the time machine to re-write history, forcing Doc and Marty to travel back to 1955 to restore the timeline. Famous for its hoverboard chase scene between Marty McFly and Biff's grandson Griff, rumors surrounded the feasibility of hoverboards, with Zemeckis stating in a behind-the-scenes featurette that the hoverboards existed but were not released due to parental concerns. The hoax about the hoverboards persists to this day.

Presented here is a 28 x 8-inch pink plastic hoverboard replica from the film "Back to the Future II" signed by Michael J. Fox. The hoverboard is made of pink plastic with green, white, and yellow accents and features a green Velcro pad with a pink strap on the back of the hoverboard. The top of the hoverboard features a pink Velcro straps. The reverse side of the hoverboard is labeled "BACK TO THE FUTURE II" in yellow and red against a maroon background. Two circular plastic discs for propulsion are affixed to opposite ends of the hoverboard with Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd signing one propulsion disc, and Lea Thompson and Tom Wilson signing the other propulsion disc in blue felt tip marker. In excellent condition. Certified authentic by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS), with their authentication stickers affixed to each disc.
