Led Zeppelin: John Bonham Superb Signed "Led Zeppelin III" Record Album (Beckett/BAS LOA)

Bonzo aka John Henry Bonham, (born May 31, 1947, Redditch, Worcestershire, England—died September 25, 1980, Windsor), British rock musician and famous for being the drummer of the Led Zeppelin rock band. Bonham joined Led Zeppelin at the start when they formed in 1968 (originally called The New Yardbirds). His strong and hard drumming provided the ground for the group’s music and it became largely to the success of the band; which gained an international name as pioneers of “heavy rock.” During the late ’60s and early ’70s, the group made many successful tours in Europe and the U.S., becoming one of the most revered rock bands of all-time.

Offered here is an original pressing of Zep's third album, appropriately titled "III", beautifully hand signed on the back cover in blue ballpoint pen, "Best Wishes, John Bonham." Upon close examination, it can be seen that the collector who acquired the signature had applied a light coat of lacquer over the autograph for preservation purposes, and in turn the signature is bold and remains vibrant decades after being penned. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
