Houdini, Harry (Ehrich Weisz). Shakespeare Birthday Book Autograph Album Signed by Harry Houdini. Circa 1910s. Small clothbound album (4 ¼ x 3”) belonging to H.J. Collings (likely Herbert J. Collings, an English magician who performed under the stage name Col. Ling Soo) signed in green ink by Houdini on the date April 6 and underlining a portion of the corresponding quotation from Shakespeare (“All’s well that ends well”). Signed by approximately 30 others, apparently friends and family of Collings, with common surnames including Thorpe, Pavey, and Rice. Well preserved and in fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
