The Woodstock Music and Art Fair of 1969 is undoubtedly one of the greatest live music events of all-time. Approximately 500,000 people congregated to hear the music of The Who, Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, The Jefferson Airplane and other great bands. While this event is often imitated, it will never be duplicated.
Offered here is a complete and unused ticket to the most historic day of the event, Sunday, August 17, 1969. Perhaps Woodstock--and the generation it represented--was best defined on that fateful Sunday morning when Jimi Hendrix took the stage. His innovative and moving rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" was played during his set, and to this day remains a staple in American culture.
This ticket is attractively matted along with a descriptive sheet and a Woodstock mini poster print and is housed in an attractive black matte finish frame display.
