Presented here is the May 9, 1936 issue of the Mid-West Pictorial. The 32-page magazine featured images and writeups relating to American events at the time. On page 8 is a terrific image of Joe DiMaggio at bat in his very first MLB game (which he went 3-for-6!), and the photo has been signed by DiMaggio in blue felt tip marker.
