An encapsulation of a special moment in baseball history, offered here is a Sports section to the July 9th, 1941 edition of the Los Angeles Times. Leading off the section is an extensive writeup of the 1941 All-Star Game, which was highlighted by Ted Williams' historic 9th inning game-winning walk off home run. Boldly featured on the page is a 6" x 7" image of Williams and fellow American League teammate Joe DiMaggio celebrating after the historic feat, and both baseball legends hand signed along the photo in blue ballpoint pen.
