The limited distribution of Playboy magazine’s early issues has caused many problems for collectors who are trying to complete the set. The availability of the first 12 issues ranges from "difficult" to "nearly-impossible," with issues two and three being among the hardest to find. They seem to turn up far less frequently than the highly desirable first issue. Collectors are usually quite pleased when they can find complete copies in any condition. Offered here for your viewing and bidding pleasure is a choice specimen of Playboy's third issue, dated February 1954. Well preserved, this issue is full intact and shows minimal signs of aging, with clean inside pages and only light handling wear to the front and back cover edges. Easily rates a solid NM overall!
