Eric Clapton is one of the world's most celebrated guitarists who has dazzled crowds for decades with his music. In the early 1960's Eric Clapton picked up the nick name "Slowhand" from the expression "slow-hand clapping." During his forty plus year career he played with great bands as the blue inspired, Yardbirds, Cream, and Derek and the Dominoes. His greatest fame came as a solo artist, and he is considered by many—including his peers--as the greatest guitarist in rock history.

Offered here is a Fender Squier Stratocaster guitar, created in the same style as Clapton’s famed “Blackie” guitar, boldly hand signed by the legendary performer in a black Sharpie ink (“8”). The guitar and signature are well preserved and in superb condition. It should be noted that Clapton is a notoriously difficult autograph to acquire, and he has upheld policy of not signing guitars for several years.

Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
