Napoleon signed letter in French, signed “Nap,” one page, 7.25 x 9, April 2nd, 1811. Letter reads "Dear Cousin, responding to your letter from March 30. There is no doubt that the [military] detachments from, the 15th and 28th regiments, who are entering the [territories?] of the First Matching Regiments of the South, whose regiments belong to the Army of the center must stop at Madrid, whence they will join up with the war battalions. Meantime, I pray that god keep you under his sacred and worthy care. Paris April 2, 1811." . Matted with a color portrait of Napoleon to an overall size of 16 x 20. In fine condition, with central horizontal and vertical fold along with a tear of the upper left corner. Full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
