A unique coupling of two very influential commissioners in the history of baseball and quite scarce autographs finely matted for immediate display. Commissioner Kenesaw Mountain Landis, elected the first Commissioner of Baseball on November 12, 1920, helped restore public confidence in the sport following the "Black Sox" scandal of 1919. He served until his death on November 25, 1944, the year he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. With a bold “cut” signature in pencil measuring 4” in length. Included with Kenesaw is a signature from Happy Chandler on his Cooperstown First day cover. Signed in black felt tip marker in fine condition. Overall size of matting is 24” x 11” and has been pre-approved with a prior auction house by PSA/DNA.
