Excellent typed and signed personal letter, one page, 7.25" x 10.5", personal letterhead, July 27, 1935. A prime physical specimen of the era, Baer responds to an inquiry from a fan regarding his diet and exercise regimen, responding in part, "In answer to your question, this is one which I am often asked and the answer is very simple. Eat the proper food, fresh vegetables, fruit, lean beef, eggs, and drink plenty of milk. Get as much sleep as you can and take a moderate amount of exercise. Swimming, tennis, gym work are all good." Perfectly signed at the conclusion in a rich fountain pen ink, "Max Baer." Light uniform toning, otherwise very fine. COA from PSA/DNA.
