Rare and desirable personal letter from the actor best known for his performance as "Dracula." One page, on personal letterhead, January 15, 1936. A brief but sincere letter of thanks for a sketch received by an admirer, Lugosi write:
"My dear Donald,
I want to thank you for the sketch you sent me - it is excellent. Just keep up your good work and I'm sure you will be successful. Wishing you success in your life's ambition. I remain.
Sincerely, your friend
[Signed] Bela Lugosi
P.S. I have a room in my home that contains all the sketches sent me by my friends - and I can say truthfully that yours is the best."
