Partly printed leatherbound pilot’s license, four pages, 3” x 4.25”, June 21, 1930. Certificate no. 7568, for V. Edward Smith, signed “Orville Wright” as Chairman of the National Aeronautics Association. Wright signs at the bottom of the first page, with the photo and signature of Smith alongside on page two. Inside back cover contains a request, printed in various languages, for assistance to the holder of the certificate. In very good condition, with uniform mild toning to first page, scattered light toning, handling wear, and soiling, light rubbing and handling wear to covers, and binding a bit loose and fragile. A fine signature example from Wright on an item that is most fitting for the Father of Aviation! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
