This ticket comes in a matted display with a copy of the concert poster, the original ticket #83152324, and a story behind the ticket below which reads:
"This concert ticket is from Elvis Presley's Tupelo, Mississippi performance held at the Mississippi-Alabama Fair and Dairy show on September 26, 1956. Elvis made his triumphant return tho his birthplace, which was celebrated as "Elvis Presley Day." According to the book "Did Elvis Sing In Your Hometown," tickets for the other headliners during the fair that week were 75 cents, but Elvis' shows warranted double the admission price at $1.50"
