Up for auction is an original piece of steel cable from the legendary aviator, Charles Lindbergh's first plane, a Curtiss named "Jenny." Mounted in a matted display along with 2 pictures of Lindbergh, featuring one of him and an unknown person in front of the plane.
There is a descriptive plaque that reads: "The Curtiss JN-4 "Jenny" was the first airplane ever owned and flown by legendary aviator, Charles A. Lindbergh. Lindbergh made his first solo in this plane in 1923 and later barnstormed around the United States in it before selling the plane and moving on to larger aircraft. This is an authentic remnant piece of steel wire from Charles Lindbergh's original Curtiss "Jenny."
Full matted display measures 20" x 16" and comes with Certificate of Authenticity from the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, NY.
