Up for auction is a rare piece of currency from World War II, signed by Dwight D. Eisenhower.

The Japanese Goverment issued its own sponsored currency in the Japanese sponsored Philippine Republic, when it was declared illegal to possess the guerilla notes that were currently held by most Philippinos.

These were issued in 1942, and deemed "Mickey Mouse Money" by the Philippinos because they were nearly worthless.

Overall size of the bill is 3.75" x 1.75".  We guarantee this lot to pass PSA/DNA or JSA authentication, and full certification can be arranged for an additional fee (please contact us for further details).
