Offered here is an ONL (White) ball signed by 15 members of the 1957 Brooklyn Dodgers—Flatbush's last big league club before its transplant to Los Angeles. A front-runner as late as mid-June and in the thick of the National League pennant chase through much of the summer, the '57 Dodgers boasted the youthful arms of Sandy Koufax/Don Drysdale, and were powered offensively by backstop Roy Campanella, who was to be tragically injured in an automobile accident following that season.
