When the collaborations of John Lennon & Paul McCartney (along with the other two Beatles) are looked at from a historical perspective forty plus years later, they can simply be summed up as magical. Possibly the greatest song writing duo in the history of Rock & Roll, John Lennon & Paul McCartney would go on to create music that transcends the generations and bring joy to nearly all of its listeners. With all the success the Beatles saw in the 1960’s, there were many business dealings to be worked out, something the magical song writing duo left  mainly up to one man (post 1967), Neil Aspinall. Between 1967-70 The Beatles went through many ups-and-downs with 1969 being the year where The Beatles came to realize their music making days as a collaborative group would need to end, ultimately with the disintegration happening in 1970.
Offered here is an extremely rare signed contract during arguably the most troubling of years for The Beatles, 1969. Signed on 8.5” x  13” legal paper, this contract for Maclen Music (Northern Songs) is stating the change of a secretary in December of 1968. Signed by John lennon, Paul McCartney & Neil Aspinall, all with such strength that they seem to “pop” off the document even 40 years later. Another interesting note regarding this contract is the fact that John signed in black felt tip marker, which is exceedingly rare during The Beatle years of the late 60’s. Overall in fine condition with one center fold & what looks to be a removed staple to the upper left hand corner. Duel letters of authenticity from two world renown Beatles experts in Perry Cox & Frank Caiazzo.

The Beatles: John Lennon, Paul McCartney & Neil Aspinall Signed Formal Document for MacLen Music Ltd. (Caiazzo & Cox LOAs)
