A rare and highly desirable piece for the Mantle collector, offered here is the original front page to the October 2, 1961 issue of the New York Mirror celebrating Roger Maris' historic 61st home run. Autographing in blue felt tip pen, fellow Yankee legend Mickey Mantle uniquely signed and inscribes, "Nice Goin Rog, Mickey Mantle." In our extensive research of Mantle descriptions this is the first of such inscriptions we've ever seen.
