Three page document, 8.5" x 11", dated November 13, 1963, signed by Cassius Clay. The document, which is an agreement between the American Broadcasting Company and the agent for Cassius Clay ("Performer"), has been signed in black ink (rating "10") on page three by "Cassius Clay." Clay has also initialed ("CC") the first two pages in black ink. The contract, which appears to be missing page one (what remains is the cover sheet and the second and third pages of the agreement) concerns payment to Clay regarding residuals for future broadcasts of the show he is to appear on, specifically for broadcasts in "Foreign Areas." Clay was preparing for his upcoming heavyweight title bout (February 25, 1964) against Sonny Liston at the time this contract was signed, but he had not yet converted to Islam and changed his name to Muhammad Ali. Because Clay changed his name to Ali shortly after winning the title, Cassius Clay signed items have always been highly prized by collectors for both their rarity and significance to Ali's life story. Displays two notebook holes along the top, as well as a number of staple holes in the upper left corner; otherwise in excellent condition overall. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
