George Reeves is best remembered for his role as Superman on the popular 1950s television series. He was fatally shot under mysterious circumstances at the age of 45; whether his death was a suicide or a homicide remains one of the great unsolved mysteries of Hollywood lore. Needless to say his signed images are incredibly rare, especially those of him in character. Offered here is a Splendid and rare vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo signed & inscribed in felt tip with a incredible inscription, “To Rachel Amos, thanks for watching, George "Superman" Reeves.” A few small surface creases and some unobtrusive vertical lines with four punch holes. To Rachel Amos has been traced over most likely by Rachel. Similar to our Star Wars George Lucas offering, the rarity of this item & inscription cannot be overlooked.
