This ball was used during the 2011 New York Yankees AL East Division Championship season. Although their season ended short with an ALDS loss to the Tigers in 5 games, it did have a high-point of seeing its own Derek Jeter becoming only the 28th player in the history of Major League Baseball to reach the illustrious 3,000 hit club on July 9, 2011 by way of a home run (only he and Wade Boggs joined the club with homers). Beautifully signed with blue ballpoint pen, showing obvious signs of game use, this ball comes with holograms from Steiner and MLB as well as COA letter and card from Steiner Sports.
