Offered here is an original first run, first issue issue of Sports Illustrated, cover date August 16, 1954. In overall EX-MT condition, this nice specimen features all original inserts including the 1954 Topps card inserts and the original subscription cards. Adding to the rarity of this particular issue, it is accompanied by the original paper mailing envelope which is intact and in overall very good condition. Original SI #1's with the mailing envelope are exceedingly rare!
