For the signed Pro-Line helmet collector, it really doesn't get much better than this absolute gem. The Chicago Bears' VSR-4 is absolutely covered in silver ink by former Bears great Walter Payton with a combination of stats that we have yet to see on a helmet before, with six unique inscriptions to go with a beautiful silver felt tip signature of Walter Payton, "Sweetness, 34, 16726, Superbowl XX, MVP 1977 & HOF 1993." To date, we have not seen another offering quite like this, as typically signed jerseys by Walter may be graced by these impressive inscriptions, but full sized Pro-Line helmets are a whole other story. Overall in fine condition with minor signs of aging to the shell. Authenticated by both The Walter Payton Foundation with their hologram affixed to the item & a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
