Rare and desirable handwritten note penned by Old Hickory on a 3.25" x 7.5" toned sheet, dated May 27, 1825. Jackson writes to a Jonah Nichol requesting that he be able to purchase an item on account to assist with horse shoes. Penned entirely in Jackson's hand and signed by the legendary president at the conclusion. The note exhibits the usual toning and handling wear from nearly 200 years of aging, however the ink flow is superb and Jackson's signature is strong. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
