A Negro League legend, Johnson would add more to the game than just his seemingly mythological success by mentoring another great in the slugger Bob Gibson. With Johnson being elected into Cooperstown in 1975, only a meer 16 years prior to his death, it goes without saying how rare a nice single signed sphere is by the former legend. Offered here is one of those tough singles with this signed Official American League Bobby Brown baseball on the sweetspot by Johnson. Overall in fine condition with areas of discoloration.
