This 1987 label Rawlings Adirondack 288RJ Reggie Jackson professional model bat was used by Jackson toward the end of his career. Reggie spent the final season of his 21-year career back in Oakland 12 years after leaving the A's at the conclusion of the 1975 season, knocking the last 15 of his 563 home runs with the A's in 1987. The 34-inch, 31.9-ounce bat reveals evidence of some hard-hit whacks with at least half-a-dozen white leather scuff marks and several stitch impressions dotting the barrel. Two-tone natural wood and black finish. The bat is cracked towards the top of the handle and contains remnants of pine tar. Jackson's name is engraved in white block letters at the barrel and the 288RJ model number (288RJ), order number (053) and year (7) are stamped into the knob. Jackson signed the back in thick silver sharpie with a 'Good Luck' inscription on the left barrel above the label. The knob is affixed with PSA/DNA sticker authenticating the bat (# 1B05761) and the barrel contains one for the Signature (#U69473) the bat also comes with a PSA/DNA letter of authenticity with GU 8 grading.
