In 1961 Natalie Wood & Rita Moreno would take the World by storm with the instant classic Romeo & Juliet story, West Side Story, based on the Broadway musical of the same name. With ten Academy Award winners including Rita Moreno playing the roll of Anita, Maria's (Natalie Wood) best friend, the film saw instant success that continues to this day. Offered here is an iconic image of both West Side Story stars on a 8" x 10" promotional photo signed by Natalie Wood in bold blue ballpoint & Rita Moreno in black ballpoint. Dual signed photo's such as this are an extreme rarity as Wood's life was sadly cut short at the age of 43 while filming for Brainstorm in 1981. Overall in fine condition with some light surface impressions. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
